We keep pretty regular hours, though tax season can get a bit crazy. Best to call ahead if you're planning to drop by in March or April!

Finding Us is Easy

We're located just south of Steeles Avenue on Victoria Park. If you're coming from downtown, take the DVP north and exit at Steeles - we're about 5 minutes from there.

Parking

Free underground parking available in the building. Visitor spots are clearly marked near the elevators.

Transit

TTC Bus 24 Victoria Park stops right outside. The building is also accessible from Don Mills Station via the 25 bus.

We strongly recommend booking ahead. While we love spontaneous visitors, there's nothing worse than you showing up and us being stuck in a meeting or out at a client site. A quick call or email ensures we've got time set aside just for you - plus we can make sure the right person's available to help with your specific situation.

Depends on what you need, but generally speaking: recent tax returns (last 2 years if you've got 'em), any CRA correspondence you've received, financial statements if you run a business, and any specific questions written down. Don't stress too much though - if you forget something, we can always follow up later. First meeting's really just about getting to know each other and figuring out how we can help.

Initial consultations are usually free for about 30 minutes. It gives us both a chance to see if we're a good fit before committing to anything. After that, our rates depend on what services you need - everything from straightforward tax prep to complex corporate planning has different pricing. We'll always give you a clear quote before starting any work, no surprises.

Absolutely. We've gotten pretty good at virtual meetings over the past few years. Video calls work great for most situations - sometimes even better since you can share your screen and we can walk through documents together in real-time. We use secure video conferencing and have encrypted file sharing for sending sensitive documents. Whatever works best for your schedule.

CRA audits and other urgent matters get priority treatment. If you've got a letter from the CRA or a deadline looming, let us know right away when you contact us. We can usually squeeze in urgent consultations within 24-48 hours, sometimes same-day if it's really critical. The key is not to panic and reach out as soon as possible - the earlier we're involved, the better we can help.

Yeah, definitely. We've got clients all over Ontario and even a few in other provinces. As long as you're comfortable with virtual meetings and electronic document sharing, location isn't really a barrier anymore. Tax laws can vary by province for certain things, but we're licensed to handle accounts across Canada. Distance hasn't been an issue for any of our remote clients so far.

The building has a secure dropbox in the lobby that we check every morning. You can leave sealed envelopes there anytime - just make sure your name and contact info are clearly marked. Or honestly, emailing scanned documents through our secure portal is usually easier and faster. We'll send you portal access info after your first contact with us.
